Professional and versatile PRINCE2 qualified IT Project Manager and Business Analyst.
Over 20 years IT experience covering a wide range of industries, roles and technologies.
In-depth and recent knowledge of finance technologies and banking processes with a strong track record in delivering robust technical and business solutions, initially as a developer but now as as an analyst or as a manager.
Proven analysis, design and documentation skills, and experienced with a range of project and development methodologies. Technical “hands-on” slant with solid IBM mainframe, case tool (CA GEN), web and Microsoft skills.
Special (professional) interests include project methodologies, software requirements management, cryptography and cards... although lately I have found myself working on banking integration and divestment programmes, with emphasis on payment systems.
Experienced and effective working in different social and corporate cultures, and with third party/offshore suppliers. Widely travelled with work experience in the UK, Africa, USA, Ireland and Australia.
Professional Engineering background in the field of power system computer modelling before moving into a computing career in 1990.

I am currently working as a consultant Business Analyst on an IT Security programme at the Lloyds Banking Group in Edinburgh. Prior to that I worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland. I will be available for work towards the middle of 2012.
